When you reach the stop sign just past Hwy H, go south a few miles until you see what is left of the creek bridge. There will be two dirt roads on your right, take a hard right and follow that road for about a mile. If you go too far you’ll see the cattle gate that goes west over the Reilly pasture.
Pull off on the shoulder after about a mile and walk across the road. Look for a foot path that appears just past the wire fence. Watch out for snakes, they like to lay out on the dirt and warm themselves as the sun sets. Take the foot path to the second group of white pines. Walk around the outside of the pines until they thin out and then continue on the next foot path to come across. You’ll see some large granite boulders to rough to climb so walk south until you see that they are getting smaller. At that point you’ll see the lake.
